Bano Qudsia (Pakistani Novelist)

Pakistani novelist  

                 Bano Qudsia, also known as Bano Aapa, was a Pakistani novelist;playwright and spiritualist. She wrote literature in Urdu, producing novels, dramas plays and short stories. Qudsia is best recognized for her novel Raja Gidh. Qudsia also wrote for television and stage in both Urdu and Punjabi language.

Born: November 28, 1928

Place: Firozpur, India

Spouse: Ashaq Ahmed

Children: Aseer Ahmed Khan

Siblings: Pervaiz Chattan

Died: February 4, 2017, lttefaq Hospital (Trust), Lahore Pakistan

Bano Aapa started writing stories at an early age and after partition migrated to Lahore. She was the wife of Ashfaq Ahmed, acclaimed Pakistani writer, playwright, and broadcaster.

 

She earned her master’s degree in Urdu.  And is regarded as one of the most significant Urdu language authors in modern times. Bano Aapa also wrote for television and stage in both Urdu and Punjabi languages.

Bano Aapa is best known for her writing style that beautifully conveys a message of love and hope,

Her playwrights are praised as the finest works of Urdu classics including her television play Aadhi Baat (Half Talk, 1968).

She wrote a productive 25 novels and founded her own magazine named Dastango. And her novel Raja Gidh (The Vulture King, 1981) is regarded as the finest work of Urdu literature.

She was awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence) in 1983 and the Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Crescent of Excellence) in 2000 for her literary achievements.

Bano Qudsia’s contributions to Pakistani literature and entertainment can never be forgotten. She passed away on February 4, 2017, in Lahore.

Tips and Tricks for English

Hello Everyone, 

This is our new topic about English.

Firstly, we all are know the importance of English in Educational career and as well as Professional career. Though as a Pakistani citizenship, It is not over mother language but it is Universal language. That's why it has a huge impact on over life for the road of success.

But most of the time we feel hesitation while speaking English. Because we are not use too to use the English language in our daily life.

Following are some tips to improve our English. So let's begin👇

1.  Internet is the great source for learning English. There are many free courses are available on You tube and also Coursera.org is one of the best platform you provide free courses.

2.  Read English articles in newspaper or any other way you like. but you have to use too to read English articles in your daily underline.

3. Then highlight the meaning how interact you. And consult dictionary for learning meanings of difficult words which help you to improving your  vocabulary also.

4. Use English in your daily routine life with your friends, family your classmates etc. Don't be afraid if people making fun of your words. It will lead you to learn more about it.

5. Watch English movie with English Subtitles.

6. Stand in front of mirror and practice talking in English with yourself and trust me It will build confidence.

7. Try to think in English.

8. Adopt a habit of writing your daily routine activity in English.

9. Listen English songs.

10. Record your voice while speaking English and then listen it. This will help you to grab your mistakes ans help you to better it.
